Virtual care is going to the dogs

Virtual care is going to the dogs

Today, we’re turning the Fabric blog over to our favorite coworkers — our office dogs! Shhh, don’t tell the rest of the Zip team, but I mean c’mon, just look at these faces.

We figured we’d let the dogs speak for themselves about life at Fabric. It’s my pleasure to introduce some very good boys and girls…

I may be small but don’t let that fool you, I’m a real shark when it comes to business. In fact, last week I offered to pitch Fabric to THE Sharks because I think Mark Cuban would really love what we’re trying to accomplish here. My mom said the Zip team has it covered though, so for now I’ll just keep my eyes on the prize and I won’t settle until I help make healthcare better for everyone.
Step one: finding that ball…

Do I love working at Fabric just for the SWAG? Of course not! I love it because of what we’re building — healthcare that betters the human experience. Well, and because of the pets I get. And the space to run around. And the people who play fetch with me. Ok sure, and the SWAG. But it’s mostly the making a difference part.

I’m on the customer success team here at Fabric, and I take my job very seriously. I get to work with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking health systems in the country!  And bonus — I get delicious treats when I’ve been a very good boy on a customer call. Luckily I’m a people person, so I get LOTS of treats. It’s a good gig.

When we think about virtual care that is user friendly and handles the complexity of the healthcare system for us, we can’t help but wag our tails! So we channeled that energy into forming the celebration committee here at Fabric. Sure, the company still celebrates big wins with Chipotle and champagne, but you never know when you’ll need an impromptu celebration session. Which is where we come in! Now if you’ll excuse us, we heard someone call our names…

I help my mom manage our Clinical Quality Advisory Council here at Fabric. I may not have an MD — yet — but I’m still a BIG advocate for ensuring virtual care is clinically appropriate care. My mom also tasks me with chasing people down to remind them to get their flu shots in the fall and apply sunblock in the summer. It’s a ruff job, but someone has to do it.

I’m on the engineering team at Fabric and, if we’re being honest, I’m the best doggone coder on the team. But I’m also team player, so I’ll admit I work with some of the most talented people this side of the Mississippi. We build technology that’s changing healthcare and making it more convenient for patients every day. And as you can see from my jumping ability, I’m Agile just like our development process. Anyway, treat time.
