As part of its continued commitment to shaping the future of the virtual care industry, Zipnosis’ Chief Executive Officer Jon Pearce will be taking the role of Chair of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Industry Council.
Pearce first joined the Council as a Committee Member in April of 2017, where he helped shape policies and advance educational content around digital health. Now as Chair, Pearce will lead the Council in its efforts to provide guidance and feedback on critical issues facing the industry as well as the ATA.
“Open engagement among industry leaders is critical as we work to fully realize the value virtual care can bring to patients, providers and health systems,” said Pearce. “It’s an honor to be appointed to Chair of the ATA’s Industry Council and I look forward to helping facilitate this type of open communication, working with my peers to guide conversations around industry issues and ultimately finding solutions to advance telemedicine policies, technologies, and adoption.”
Pearce brings over 15 years of experience working with health systems to the position, giving him an unparalleled understanding of the needs of both patients and providers. As Zipnosis’ co-founder and CEO, Jon has been instrumental in making the company a virtual care leader and has been an outspoken advocate for industry advancement.
The ATA is a non-profit association comprised of more than 10,000 industry leader and healthcare professional members, with a goal of helping to transform healthcare by improving the quality, equity and affordability of healthcare throughout the world.
