UHS Setting the Standard

UHS Setting the Standard

We love sharing our customers’ successes, and lucky for us we get to partner with some of the most innovative, motivated, and progressive health systems in the country. Which brings me to share a giant CONGRATS to United Health Services (UHS) for becoming the first (yes, first) hospital-based consumer-to-provider telehealth service in the United States to earn national accreditation.

After launching “UHS Virtual Walk-In” in June 2019, UHS took the initiative to seek accreditation from URAC, the largest nationwide independent accrediting agency. To achieve their accreditation, UHS Virtual Walk-In was measured against 36 quality standards in a rigorous review process that lasted several weeks. Fast forward a few months, and they announced last week that their accreditation was granted!

URAC President and CEO Shawn Griffin, M.D. put it best, “As technology becomes more critical in achieving population health goals, UHS blazes a trail that others will follow.” We couldn’t agree more, Shawn.

I know I speak for the whole Fabric team when I say we’re honored to be relentless allies in UHS’s journey to provide high-quality virtual care with their same trusted, local providers.
