Eric Bosler

Eric brings more than 20 years of life science financial and operational management experience spanning startup to global organizations. Previously, Eric was a principal with AVL Growth Partners, a finance and business advisory consultant group serving a number of clients. Prior to AVL, he served in financial and operational leadership roles at BioMedix, Medtronic and SurVivalink. He began his career at Ernst & Young.

Kevin L. Smith

Chief Clinical Officer


Kevin L. Smith, DNP, FNP, FAANP is the Chief Clinical Officer at Zipnosis where he provides strategic leadership for the development and implementation of evidence based clinical guidelines for virtual care services. In 1999, with physician and business colleagues, Kevin helped to develop QuickMedx (which became MinuteClinic), the first retail-based clinics in the country. He served in leadership roles, including Director of Clinical Informatics, where he contributed to electronic health record design, integration of evidence based content, and clinical quality control. In both clinical practice and his doctoral studies, Dr. Smith has focused on innovative applications of technology, clinical decision support, and analytics to drive clinical quality improvement. His background includes family practice, retail health, nursing education, and professional speaking. He has a postgraduate certificate in health informatics and is adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Rebecca Hafner-Fogarty

Rebeccahafner fogarty

Dr. Rebecca Hafner-Fogarty has served as Zipnosis’ Chief Medical Officer since 2010. Previously, she was medical director for Strategic Alliances and chief clinical officer of MinuteClinic. In addition to being a primary care physician, she has extensive experience in medical regulation, serving on the MN BMP from 1998 to 2003; 2004 to 2010; and from 2012 to present. Dr. Hafner-Fogarty currently chairs the BMP licensure committee. In addition to her role as Zipnosis CMO, she operates a small clinical practice and serves as a consultant to several Minnesota health care companies.

Scott brings extensive experience building scalable, HIPAA-compliant systems to his role as Zipnosis’ Vice President of Product & Engineering. Over his 20+ year career, he’s held technology leadership and executive positions at companies in the healthcare and life sciences and medical technology industries, including founding his own healthcare software start-up and leading technology teams at companies like Medtronic, XRS Corporation and Digital River.

Catherine Murphy

Vice President of Account Management


Catherine brings 20 years of experience in IT project management, business development, sales and account management to her role with Zipnosis. She spent 7 years with Surescripts, beginning as an Account Executive and ultimately as a key player in building Surescripts' Long Term Care market. Prior to her tenure with Surescripts, Catherine held positions with United Health Group and Lawson Software. She has an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a BA in Psychology from St. Olaf College.

She has led human resources departments for diverse companies, and has a wealth of experience in talent acquisition, training and development, compensation and benefits, and process improvement. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
